IT Helpdesk Administrator

In response to increased demand for technical support and general systems administration, AMC Consultants is looking for an IT Helpdesk Administrator to work in our Maidenhead office.

Who you will be working with and reporting to

You’ll be reporting to the IT and Operations Support Manager, who based in Melbourne, Australia.

You will be working with a small but diverse team, located in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Vancouver. The role of this team is to look after all AMC IT systems, as well as providing technical support to around 200 users spread across 9 offices.

Now a bit more information about the role

Specialist skills required:
• Computer hardware knowledge – specifically diagnosing and repairing Dell equipment
• Microsoft Windows 10 experience (installation, troubleshooting)
• Microsoft Office experience (ideally with Office 365)
• Fantastic customer service skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Exposure to Active Directory and Windows Server is desirable
• Some exposure to general computer networking
• Any additional exposure to SQL, databases or IT security would be highly regarded

Qualifications required:
• Ideally a bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline
• 1-3 years’ experience providing support to a similar size organisation

The salary package offered for this position will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate
