In response to the increased demand for our mining engineering services, AMC Consultants is looking for a Mining Engineer to work in our Perth office.

Who you will be working with and reporting to
Our Open Pit Manager, Principal Mining Engineer, with expertise in the management of feasibility studies and computer-assisted mine planning for open pit and underground mines. His experience includes numerous feasibility studies, pit optimization, mine design, scheduling, mine planning support to established operations, as well as technical reviews of operations for corporate purposes.
You will be working within a team of consultants in Perth and with a wide variety of industry specialists across our eight offices.
Now a bit more information about the role
Specialist skills required:
• Proficient in Open Pit mine design and scheduling.
• Proficient user of Datamine, Whittle and Production Scheduling software.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, and report writing and presentation skills are highly desired.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and schedule work.
• Mining engineering degree.
• Have at least 2 years relevant experience, preferably with some consulting experience in the mining industry, including technical or operational roles.
• Membership of an industry recognized professional organisation
The salary package offered for this position will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate
