Our global team continues to grow, this time at our offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. We welcome Marie Sexton (Principal Mining Engineer), Ed Northcote (Principal Mechanical Engineer), and David Andrews (Principal Mining Engineer) respectively. Together, they bring more than 76 years of mining industry experience. We look forward to their contribution to our continued success.
Principal Mining Engineer
Marie is a mining professional with 18 years of technical and financial experience in the mining industry, covering both Australian and international territories. Leveraging qualifications in mining engineering, applied geology, and finance, Marie has built a solid career with achievements from operational, consulting, and corporate financial roles including technical and statutory responsibilities, internal and external project analysis and planning, financial risk assessment, monitoring and management. She has undertaken and delivered open-pit and underground operational and development projects across a range of disciplines and commodities including gold, base metals, coal (financing only), and oil and gas (financing only).

He has undertaken study manager and project manager roles for developing concept, pre-feasibility, feasibilities for hard and soft rock mines, and delivered projects and studies across various phases of project life cycles covering engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. His areas of expertise include open-pit and underground hard rock mining infrastructure selection, design and development of material handling systems, contracts and project management. Ed has held numerous corporate, project management, and technical roles at owner operators, EPCM consultancies, contractors, and the state government in Australia and South Africa.
Principal Mining Engineer
David is a mining engineer with more than 23 years of industry experience. He has a unique dual education in geology and engineering and has spent the better part of his career integrating the technical disciplines at underground mine sites to ensure enterprise risk mitigation and enterprise value optimization are completed at the design stage. Pairing the technical with hands-on operational experience, commercial and legal negotiations, David is well positioned to offer clients mine design support, commercial insight, techno-economic modelling, business development, and business options analysis. David’s strengths are strategic thinking, integration, business transformation and finding simplicity on the other side of what can be very complex vertically integrated value chains in our industry.
