Anthony de Veth, General Manager of AMC’s office in Maidenhead and the rest of his team, are pleased to welcome Bryan Pullman to the role of Mining Manager, and Alan Turner as Senior Mining Engineer.
Bryan has almost 20 years of mine engineering and consulting experience for both open pit and underground mines and projects. For the past eight years he was with Golder Associates first in Calgary, Canada and for the past four years, based in the UK. Prior to that he worked for Norwest Corporation and software and mining companies. Bryan spent about eight years working in open pit and underground mines in Canada in engineering roles. He started his mining career at an open pit gold mine in the Yukon, then underground gold mines in Northern Ontario and then was with INCO in Thompson, Manitoba before joining Norwest in Calgary. He has experience in numerous commodities including gold, nickel, uranium, copper and base metals with some exposure to coal and oil sands.
Bryan’s principal expertise in in the design, planning and evaluation of mines with particular emphasis on metalliferous underground mining. Bryan’s recent project work has included completing due diligence reviews, operations audits and various levels of studies throughout Europe and West Africa. He has been involved in typical mine engineering projects as well as surface and underground mine infrastructure and materials handling studies.
Alan has a wealth of mine operating and planning experience, mainly in FSU operations. His most recent position was as Technical Services Manager at Lydian International’s Amulsar operation. He has previously worked with Tetra Tech, Dundee Precious Metals, and Anvil Mining. Alan has recently focussed mainly on management and operational readiness but he is also skilled and interested in mine optimization, design, and planning of both U/G and open pit operations. ‘
AMC welcomes these two new additions to the mining group at AMC’s office in the United Kingdom and looks forward to their valuable contributions to the AMC service offering. The mining group will continue to grow, with another Mining Engineer expected to join the AMC mining group in the UK in July.
