The Copper to the World Conference 2018 will take place on 26 June in Adelaide. AMC’s Adelaide team, led by General Manager, Johann van Wijk, looks forward to welcoming delegates to booth #6.
Organized by the South Australian Department for Energy and Mining, the conference is in its second year following a successful inaugural conference in 2017. The conference program will feature presentations by representatives from BHP, Olympic Dam, Newcrest Mining, the CSIRO, Hillgrove Reosurces, and Havilah Resources amongst others.
Meet the team at Copper to the World 2018
Andrew is a Principal Consultant at AMC’s office in Adelaide with technical expertise in mine geology, resource estimation, and engineering geology. His broad experience within the mining industry includes mine geology and mine production, resource estimation and modelling, grade control, rock mechanics, pit slope design and underground support, mine planning and development, and exploration.
Wilson is Mining Manager / Principal Mining Engineer at AMC’s office in Adelaide. He has 25 years of experience in mining, geotechnical engineering and leadership of professional engineers and geologists. Andrew’s experience includes exploration, mine planning and development, geotechnical and production, in both open-pit and underground mines. He has worked in various teams, as both a member and in leadership, mentoring, and coaching roles. His technical experience also includes groundwater, civil, environmental engineering, and risk management.
