With more than 25 years of mining and project management experience. His expertise is predominantly in feasibility study assessment, technical due diligence, and business improvement in underground and open pit metalliferous mining projects. Andrew has managed numerous scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies world-wide, and overseen the preparation of public reports and performed the role of Qualified/Competent Person for Mineral/Ore Reserves in accordance with the requirements of NI43-101 and JORC.

Patrick Smith is the Managing Director and CEO of AMC Consultant. AMC works with mining leaders to evaluate opportunities, solve hidden productivity challenges, and improve performance across the mining cycle. Prior to his current role, Patrick served as General Manger of the Brisbane office, then CEO of AMC. He has worked on mining studies, technical reviews and valuations for projects in five continents. Patrick holds a degree in mining engineering and is a chartered professional of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

James is a mining engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in open pit mine planning, feasibility assessment and technical due diligence. James has reviewed and worked on projects throughout the world, including Chile, Peru and other parts of South America. Specific sites reviewed and visited include Collahuasi, Los Bronces, Mantoverde, Mantos Blancos, El Soldado, Cerro Corona, Maricunga and La Coipa. James has also reviewed other large copper projects around the world, including KCM in Zambia and Prominent Hill in Australia.
Barnes has more than 15 years of practical mining experience primarily focused on feasibility studies and design of underground mines. This involves underground mine design and planning, benchmarking analysis, operational support, and project management with expertise in underground mine backfill systems and tailings storage facilities. Barnes can advise on selection, design and implementation, in addition to operational support, reviews and optimisation. Barnes’s expertise is supported by a background in geotechnical engineering and broad global experience.
Anthony has more than 20 years of experience in mining, geotechnical engineering and project management, acting in both consulting services and production roles. His experience includes geotechnical, mine planning and production roles, in both open-pit and underground mines. He has worked in various teams, as both a member and in leadership roles. Anthony has successfully project-managed numerous projects such as the mining component of Shanta’s New Luika underground project pre-feasibility study and numerous projects at Barrick’s Cowal open-pit, including wall steepening and geotechnical investigations
